Dr. Elena Mustakova is an evolutionary psychologist and educator with 40 years’ experience working with adults, families, and communities across a range of socioeconomic and cultural contexts. She takes a holistic and mindfulness-based approach to adult and community development. Her work is inspired by a Bahá’í spiritual perspective on the evolution of consciousness towards unitive justice, and emphasizes the systemic links between health, culture, moral development, language.
She is the author of Critical Consciousness: A Study of Morality in Global Historical Context and senior editor of Toward a Socially Responsible Psychology for a Global Era, and has received academic recognition for her scholarship on the rethinking of psychology to address the spiritual and social needs a global era. She is co-founder of the Unitive Justice and Global Security Thought Leaders Synergy Circle https://sdgthoughtleaderscircle.org/unitive-justice-and-global-security-circle/. Her 2022 Nautilus Silver Award book, Global Unitive Healing: Integral Skills for Personal and Collective Transformation, has been called “a hymn to collective sanity”, offering “potent and wise medicine for our time.”

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nadia Kostova has spent nearly 30 years of her professional life in the media. Realizing that the negative media impact can significantly outweigh benefits, she made it her mission as Program Director of one of the main Bulgarian TV stations, and later in other roles, to do work to offset this harm. Her personal mission is to work more directly for the spiritual well-being of people and for the cause of raising public consciousness in Bulgaria and beyond.

Dr. Kurt Johnson

Dr. Kurt Johnson (https://www.evolutionaryleaders.net/synergycircles; www.lightonlight.us), author and activist, has worked in professional science and comparative religion over 40 years. A prominent figure on international committees, particularly at the United Nations, he is author or co-author of several influential and award-winning books: Our Moment of Choice (2020) (Gold Nautilus and COVR Awards), The Coming Interspiritual Age (2013), Nabokov’s Blues (2000) and Fine Lines (2015) (Brian Boyd Prize, 2019).  Kurt has served on the faculty of New York’s Interfaith Seminary for 12 years and, for 25 years, was associated there with the American Museum of Natural History. He is host for the Convergence series on VoiceAmerica, publisher of three magazines: The Convergence, Light on Light, and Conscious Business and is a founder of the Light on Light Press.
A partner in UNITY EARTH, Kurt is ordained, or certified, in five religious traditions. He has a PhD in Evolution and Ecology and is author of over 200 scientific articles and seven technical books. A former monastic, is he a member or founder of the Evolutionary Leaders, Association of Transformational Leaders, international Contemplative Alliance, Gaiafield and Subtle Activism Networks, Self Care to Earth Care network, UN NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns, NGO Forum 21 Institute, the UN Committee for International Yoga Day, and is President of the Friends of the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

Nina Meyerhof, Ed.D

Dr. Nina Meyerhof, founder of Children of the Earth (COE), a worldwide organization that empowers youth working for peace and the establishment of the One Humanity Institute (OHI) for peace and regeneration as a “solutionarium” located in Oswiecim-Auschwitz, Poland.  Nina’s innovative work in peace and sustainability through educational methodologies has reached young people in over 100 countries and continues to grow.
Nina co-authored the book, “Conscious Education: The Bridge to Freedom”; developed a one of a kind handbook entitled, “Pioneering Spiritual Activism”. In addition, she has written several chapters addressing Authentic Education and Soul Education for several anthologies consisting of notable luminaries, the latest is “Our Moment of Choice” and “Holomovenment”
Nina has received awards for her work from The Mother Theresa Award to the Citizens Department of Peace Award to The International Educators Award as well as the State of Vermont passed a Resolution honoring her for her life’s work in PEACE, the Sage Award and the top 2nd for the Public Peace Prize. Recently awarded The Global Leadership and Lifetime Award as well as the Visioneer Lifetime Achievement Award as a Heroine of Humanity and JAGILS annual award in name of Nina Meyerhof., LIFETIIME AWARD EXCEPTIONAL WOMAN OF PEACE. Office of Social Engagement at the White House delivered the Presidential Lifetime Achievement and Volunteer Service Award and  Name Honoring of a school in Kenya.

Scott Alan Carlin, Ph.D

Retired associate professor of geography at Long Island University where he taught sustainable development. Dr. Carlin co-chaired the 66th United Nations Department of Global Communications NGO conference in South Korea in 2016, entitled Education for Global Citizenship: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals for All. He has served on the Global NGO Executive Committee, a voluntary board of elected NGO representatives to the UN. He co-chaired of the International Day of Education for Global Citizenship NGO Steering Committee until 2020; and he co-authored, “The Role of Civil Society in Advancing Global Citizenship” for UN Chronicle and a white paper, “GreenTech LIU: A Roadmap for a Collaborative SDG Campus.” Dr. Carlin consults for the Long Island chapter of the NYS Centers for Children’s Environmental Health Centers and coordinates the Children’s Advisory Board on environmental health in Wyandanch, NY, https://nyscheck.org/wyandanch/.  He is co-founder of the Unitive Justice and Global Security Thought Leaders Synergy Circle https://sdgthoughtleaderscircle.org/unitive-justice-and-global-security-circle/.

David Lorimer, MA, PGCE, FRSA

David Lorimer, MA, PGCE, FRSA is a visionary polymath poet and spiritual activist who is Founder of Character Education Scotland, Global Ambassador and Programme Director of the Scientific and Medical Network (www.scientificandmedical.net) and former President of Wrekin Trust and the Swedenborg Society (www.swedenborgsociety.org.uk). He has also been editor of Paradigm Explorer since 1986 and completed his 100th issue in 2019. He was the instigator of the Beyond the Brain conference series in 1995 (www.beyondthebrain.org)  and has co-ordinated the Mystics and Scientists conferences every year since the late 1980s. His most recent books are his essays, A Quest for Wisdom and his collection of poetry, Better Light a Candle. David is also Chair of the Galileo Commission (www.galileocommission.org) which seeks the expand the evidence base of science of consciousness beyond a materialistic world view. Evgenia Alexandrova

Ms. Evgenia Alexandrova has been recognized among the 100 most influential women in Bulgaria in 2012 for her groundbreaking patient advocacy in the field of oncology, which led to significant changes in national cancer health care policies in Bulgaria. Her campaign for a Standard for Non-Medical Care and comprehensive rehabilitation through introducing psychologists and social workers in the multidisciplinary teams in specialized oncology hospitals, won her recognition as Woman of the Year (Grazia magazine 2008), and Golden Heart (BTV 2003, 2010). She founded the Association of Cancer Patients (APOZ), https://oncobg.info/, of which she has served as President for 20 years. The organisation is a member of international networks, including UICC, ESMO, ECPC, Europa Donna, Europa Uomo, INCA, Europa Colon and others, striving to introduce innovative practices in Bulgaria. Ms. Alexandrova is a two-time board member of the European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC), a long-standing national representative of the European Breast Cancer Coalition EUROPA DONNA, and a contact person for the Cancer Mission of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme – 2021-2027. Author and co-author of numerous publications for patients, including the Cancer Patient Handbook, https://oncobg.info/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Cityclinic_Book_120x168mm_2021_ready.pdf, she serves on the expert group of the Bulgarian Ministiry of Health and draws public attention to the need for a National Cancer Plan.
